I'm a hyper-realistic wood carver. Starting with ducks and bird back in the late 1980s, I gained a solid foundation on how to work in 3D. It wasn't until 5 years ago that I took my carvings to a new level when I was inspired by an artist named Fraser Smith. From that point, I knew exactly where I wanted to go with my art. My carvings are designed to fool the eye. I want people to engage with my artwork, leaving, wondering if that was really a piece of wood.
