I love to observe the world around me and art helps bring those observations into focus. I’ve been drawing since I was a kid but only became serious about painting when I reached my early fifties. My perceptions, like my art, continue to evolve. I paint whatever has meaning to me; toys that were once part of my childhood, places we drive past that have grown old and abandoned, faces that seem to express struggle and wonder. My hope is my art gives the viewer something to smile about. And maybe something to wonder about.
