The Shops at Clearfork are an upscale and scenic development in Fort Worth, Tx. Artspace111 consulting worked closely with developers Cassco Land Co. and Simon Property group to curate, broker, and install a growing collection of fine artwork to elevate the beautiful architecture of the space even more. The developers sought artwork that connected with the history of the land and that had personal ties to the family responsible for settling the area. The focal point of the collection is Tom Fruin’s Windmill, a 40 foot tall, fully-functioning Windmill sculpture. Fabricated from Fruin’s signature materials of steel and highly-colored acrylic in a variety of opacities, Windmill is the 7th piece in his internationally acclaimed ICON series. The collection also includes Kevin Box’s Migrating Cranes installations, two installations that represent the sandhill crane migration that concludes each year in Texas. Other artists included are JC Pace III, Brad Oldham, and Barbara Dybala.
