I grew up in a small town in a rural area of Germany. The first time I visited Munich as a child, I fell in love with cities - the hustle and bustle, excitement, opportunities, and above all, the architecture. I also love detail (to excess?) so I’m drawn to painting cities/buildings with lots of detail. And I love my adopted city of Fort Worth with its fabulous buildings and culture. I mostly use photographs as a reference for my paintings.
