Jack Eidson, Jr, born in Houston, was raised in Weatherford since the age of four. He is a retired CPA and Banker and now enjoys painting as his second career. He and his wife, Judy, live on a ranch in far northwest Parker County where he works primarily in oil and currently paints landscapes, figues and still lifes with a Texas, Big Bend or local flavor. He often refers to his work as "Texas Impressionism." Representations of his work may be found in several private collections and at the Doss Heritage and Cultural Center in Weatherford, Texas, and have been exhibited in several art shows. He was featured in an article in the September 2007 issue of Parker County Today magazine. Eidson holds memberships in the Weatherford Art Association and the Texas Artists Coalition in Fort Worth. He has also been represented by the Milan Art Gallery in Fort Worth. Currently, Eidson is serving as President of the Weatherford Art Association.
