Nancy Lamb (American, born 1956), sculptor and painter. Formally trained at Texas Christian University and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, where she taught ceramics from 1970 to 2004. She has exhibited at the Dallas Museum of Art; Tuchfabrik, Trier, Germany; McClaren/Markowitz Gallery, Boulder, Colo.; Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles, California; Arlington Museum, Arlington, Tex.; Kimball Art Museum, Ft. Worth, Texas; Kidder Smith Gallery, Boston, Mass.; Gallery Nuvo, Ft. Worth, Texas and the Galveston Art Center, Galveston, Tex., among other places. Her work has been featured in Harper's Magazine, Texas Monthly, and New American Painting . Notable works include designs for two 200-foot terrazzo floors at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, murals for the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, and her slice-of-life oil paintings "Social Spaces". She resides in Fort Worth , Texas , where she is associated with and represented by Artspace 111.
