Shared Ground | Contemporary Photography of Place and Identity
Current exhibition
Overview
"Each artist offers a distinct perspective, yet together their works reveal shared connections to land, memory, and meaning. The photographs invite viewers to consider not only where we are, but how we belong-highlighting the powerful relationship between people and place across Texas and beyond."
- Margery Gosset, Artspace111.
Featuring the work of Texas artists Jon Flaming, Jill Johnson, Bob Lukeman, Dontrius Williams, and Martha Peters, Shared Ground brings together a diverse range of photographic voices that explore themes of place, identity, and community. Through landscapes, skyscapes, and intimate visual narratives, the exhibition examines how environments—both natural and built—shape personal and collective experience.
