Join Love Texas Art Residency Artist Kyle Hanson for an afternoon of hands-on instruction creating experimental monotypes. This is the first workshop in the new Love Texas Art Studio Space!
Monotype is a fast-paced and intuitive form of printmaking that allows for exciting and experimental art making. The best part is that there is no wrong way to make a monotype so participants are encouraged to let loose and get weird!
Participants will learn the three methods of the monotype process (additive, reductive, and trace) in making a multilayered work of art that they will take home and proudly show their friends.
The workshop fee is $40 per person and includes all materials to create your monotype and includes one beverage per person (must be 21 and up for beer or wine). You must have a ticket to participate.
