These images have been created since early March 2020 and our new reality of quarantine from Covid-19. I day dream of my travels. While I paint the time seems to slowly slip away, and I am taken to my happy place. The reference images for these paintings were taken last summer in Thailand, off the island of Koh Lipe in the strait of Malacca. I am revisiting all the places I have been, and the photos of captured memories. Day dreaming of a different time.
