My recent painting style is in abstract organic form, though some show expressive representational characters from my own visual and emotional experiences. I begin each painting without specific plans or any preconceived ideas but allowing the fluid paint to fill up the canvas to help set up my first layer of paint. Color plays an important role that helps set tone for how my painting works. I love how the colors ebb and flow, merge and collide as I intuitively move the canvas every which way and let the gravity to do its work. I like how I can I continue using different tools to scrape, to layer, to shade and to texturize the painting until I see it is complete. The decision on how the painting looks is based on my imagination and the dreams from my personal experience. I used the same technique for every painting, and I am fascinated that each piece is unique and cannot be duplicated.
