My work is like a visual diary of people, places, and objects that define who I am. I look for objects and photographs that define people and places of my life that visually connect to art historical references. I define the subjects through saturated color forms that are emphasized by line and textures used to abstract, flatten, and define space. In some instances I use the memories conjured from the object or image to inspire a new conceptual thought about the subject.
