An interaction with the built environment is the foundation of my art. Bus stops, stores and public parks are the sites of anonymous interventions intended to catalyze and criticize my relationship to the city and its architecture. The Art is not centrally located in the gestures, the objects, or the documentation but is instead dispersed across the spectrum of its material, conceptual, and textual production. In opposition to the work of art, the singular object, I situate my actions within a system where the visual, performative, and discursive features can overlap. It is always in flux and is rarely seen in all its manifestations by the same audience. It is my aim to better understand the temporal relationship between subjects, objects, and space.
