I live in Dallas Texas and have been painting for the last 50 years off and on. I am now painting regularly after retiring from designing and building custom homes. My style of work consist of throwing paint down on the canvas with a stick. I harmonically blend filaments of color balancing the colors and space. As a fluids mechanic, I create flowing abstract paintings reflecting colors and styles of the day. As I walk around the canvas, I feel the balance of the colors and throw layers of color on top of color. The space separates yet defines the patterns of colors making each layer fill a void or touch an existing color. I feel the balance and movements are what produce the final composition. Colors are selected as characters telling a story before your eyes.
