I have been thinking a lot about entropy and its function in our lives. We go to the gym and work out because of entropy. I clean our house rather than relax on Saturday because of entropy. I watched my father's mind deteriorate due to dementia and my painting process mimics his brain function.
Through additive and subtractive processes, the image takes shape. The people or animals in the image are fractured in some way that alludes to infrastructure or safeguards that have gone awry. The incomplete information in the end product asks the viewer to make decisions based on limited information.
